Work-Out Routine

How does that saying go... If Mohammad can't go to the mountain, the mountain will go to Mohammad???

Applied to our everyday lives: if Norm and Fern don't pick a work-out routine, the work-out routine will pick them.

It has rained on and off over the last 3 days and the forecast continues to call for rain for the next few days to come. With all this water we've gotten ourselves a work-out routine. It goes something like this:

Pellet and Cali go outside.
Pellet and Cali play while Norm and Fern watch TV or do other household chores.
Pellet and Cali show up at the back door wanting to come inside.
Norm/Fern grabs "the towel", opens the door, bends over and proceeds to clean Pellet and Cali's feet - all 8 of them in a 30-second span because they are absolutley impatient and must go in the house instantly after the door opens.

You might think - what's the big deal??? Well, the big deal is that Cali has springs on her feet so she jumps. She jumps on top of Pellet (and on top of whoever is cleaning Pellet's feet), then she jumps as her feet are being cleaned. The cleaning of the feet can be reversed (Cali first, then Pellet) - but the results are the same.

The above scenario is repeated an average of 15 times per day. We have gotten ourselves a nice work-out routine!
