Baby Grace

I admit that when we found out that we were expecting baby #3, I was hoping for it to be a boy. I already "know" boys and boys don't have accessories for their clothes such as bows and socks with designs that require you focus which foot the socks go on.

But from early on in pregnancy, I got a gut feeling that this baby was going to be a girl. It's weird how that maternal instinct kicks in from the begining. Then on May 18, the gender reveal party confirmed that we were expecting a little girl! I had a huge relief that we already had her name picked out, her name would be Sofia Grace and I was already secretly in love with her.

She joined our family the morning of September 19 via c-section. It was very surreal being able to pick the date of your child's birth, it's almost like trying to play God and quite overwhelming. We picked September 19 specifically as that was my parent's wedding anniversary.

This little girl has all of our hearts right in her little palm. She is so chill and an excellent eater and has the most contagious smile. I am so grateful she joined our family and brought bows, flowers and the color purplue in our life!
